Craig Edward Mabbitt was born on April 9, 1987, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
He is the current lead singer for Escape the Fate and former lead
singer for bands Bless the Fall and The Word Alive.

After vocalist Ronnie Radke was sentenced to a minimum of 18 months in prison for a probation violation, Escape the Fate band members Max Green, Robert Ortiz and Bryan (Monte) Money went on the search for a new lead singer. They turned to Mabbitt,
who was looking to join a band after dropping out of Bless the Fall. Mabbitt was thinking about joining the post-hardcore band A Skylit Drive around the time he joined Escape the Fate. Mabbitt had played shows with Escape the Fate under certain occasions in the past and to them, he seemed like a fitting replacement for the band. It was made official that Craig would replace Ronnie soon after the arrest.

After much anticipation from hundreds of thousands of fans, the new Escape the Fate released This War Is Ours on October 21, 2008.

On internet video site youtube there is much controversy over him and Ronnie Radke for their spot in Escape The Fate. While some fans are loyal to Ronnie, others are drawn to Mabbitt. Many fights, arguments, and discussions are created with this as the main topic.
